In order to maintain an acceptable standard of hygiene in busy washrooms and toilets, deep cleaning together with a daily cleaning routine is required to deal with the problem of scale formation and unpleasant odours in WC’s and urinals.

Scale is a common problem in washrooms and can lead to unsightly staining, narrowing water pipes, inefficient waste disposal and damaged sanitary-ware.  Scale can increase faecal adhesion and consequently increase the risk of environmental contamination by urinary, faecal and epidermal bacteria.  These include, Escherichia coli, Streptococcus faecalis and Staphylococcus epidermis.
